1.Please Introduce yourself, what is your name, business name, where you are from?
Hello, I’m Beth Caldwell, and my business is Beth Caldwell Communications. I live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, in the North East United States
2.What is your business about?
I’m a life and business strategist for women. I’ve written and published 7 books and I speak at women’s conferences all over the US and Canada. Planning a trip to the UK in 2019!
3.What made you get into this line of business?
I have been gathering circles of women since I was a young girl. I did have a traditional job for a while as a social worker, but could not handle the rules and red tape. I wanted to change the world on my own terms.
4.What makes you get up and go in the morning, do you have a morning power routine?
I am a LATE starter! Since my youngest son is now in college I no longer have to have a 6:30am alarm. I wake up when I am ready, have a nice slow start to my day and I’m at my desk by 9am. My most important tip for a slow starter is to have everything organized BEFORE you leave the office the day before.
5.What is the best advice you have ever been given?
The best advice I’ve ever received is from a professional organiser and it CHANGED MY LIFE. She told me that when you are putting things away, don’t put them where you think they belong, put them where you will find them. This has saved me hours and hours and helped me feel streamlined.
6.What is a book you would say everyone must read?
Fierce Optimism by Leeza Gibbons, this one is refreshing, inspirational and empowering. I listened to it on Audible.
7.Does your business have any offers on at present or coming up?
My newest book, From Frantic to Focused will be available as an ebook later this week. My first digital book!
I am also offering a SHIFT Coaching Program that will be virtual and at a fraction of the cost of my private coaching.
8.What one thing do you do to change your mindset instantly?
Music can create an instant mindset adjustment. I have a Youtube playlist.
When I am feeling stuck and overwhelmed, I take my own coaching advice and commit to doing JUST ONE THING. I find one thing that I can complete, usually something that is simple and that I have put off or overlooked, and that helps me feel accomplished. If I still feel frustrated or overwhelmed or down, I will allow myself to take a nap, but usually doing that one thing gets me motivated to accomplish another…then another….and before you know it I’ve had a great day.
9.What do you love most about helping others?
I cannot imagine not helping others, I believe we’re here to support one another. The best thing is when you influence a woman and she passes it on. That is impact.
