Please Introduce yourself, what is your name, business name, where you are from?
My name is Ali Damron. I own Denver Acupuncture and Wellness and also AliDamron.com. I am also the podcast host of The Ali Damron Show. I grew up in a small town called Scottsbluff in western Nebraska.
2.What is your business about?
I am an acupuncturist that specializes in women’s health and a certified personal trainer. It’s my mission to educate women about the importance of health and wellness and teach them how to be healthy. There is so much information and misinformation out there that most of the women I work with are confused and don’t know what to do believe or how to get healthy.
I work with women to provide natural approaches to healing and get them looking and feeling their best. I offer lots of services including personal consultations, online courses, resources for pregnant women and birth professionals to teach them acupressure points so they can take their health into their own hands, and a physical practice in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
I believe healthy women are at the centre of the universe and can make the world a better place.
3.What made you get into this line of business?
I have seen several family members have health issues that have cost them their quality of life. I witnessed traditional medical care that was just sick care. I knew at a young age that there must be a better way to both prevent these illnesses, treat them and have people maintain their health and I was determined to learn it.
4.What makes you get up and go in the morning, do you have a morning power routine?
I get up each morning to be the best mom I can be for my two little boys and I also want to make an impact in this world. I want to change lives – make women feel better, live healthier, fulfill their passions and teach their families how to do the same. It breaks my heart watching people go through health issues that affect their quality of life. Life was meant to be lived – not merely survived.
I generally wake up at 6 am and check the onslaught of messages I have to get a little bit ahead on the day. Then I drink coffee, spend time with my kids and doing their stuff, then I workout and depending on the day, either get to work or go do something with my kids.
5.What is the best advice you have ever been given?
To love myself, follow my dreams and never give up. Everything worthwhile in life is a journey!
6.What is a book you would say everyone must read?
Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis! It seriously changed my life.
7.Does your business have any offers on at present or coming up?
I am offering one-on-one consults for $120 and follow ups for $85! The price will be increasing soon, so get in ASAP to get this price!
8.What one thing do you do to change your mindset instantly?
I practice gratitude. This practice has been life changing for me as well. When you are in a state of gratitude, you can’t be anxious. I write down nightly 10 things I’m grateful for that day. I also practice deep breathing each night.
9.What do you love most about helping others?
I love watching people transform. I hate watching people suffer and I always want to take it away for them. When I work with my patients and clients, it brings so much light to me when they are feeling better, their symptoms are gone and they have a new outlook on life. My patients thank-you’s absolutely remind me why I’m doing this. Each day I wake up and try to be the person that made someone else’s day better.
10.Your favourite quote?
“Comparison is the death of all joy, and the only person you need to be better than is the one you were yesterday.” – Rachel Hollis
