Bree Stedman

1. Please Introduce yourself, what is your name, business name, where you are from?

Female Head Talk Expert, Bree Stedman is passionate about helping women stop the negative self-talk that discourages and sabotages their life experience to gain more
Emotional Control. For 13+ years, Bree has worked with women in a leadership, mentoring, transformation and educating role. She has seen the struggle that women experience when it comes to creating a life of their dreams – regardless of skills and experience, the common denominator that affects results is the way women speak to themselves. Her Own Your BS brand is a no-nonsense approach to inspire, educate and empower.

2. What is your business about?

In a nutshell, I help women to become Aware of the Head Talk, the stories and the
underlying emotional causes of negative thinking (and feeling). With this awareness, we create new Action’s for my clients to address the negative emotional charge, leaving them to feel more Aligned with whats most important to them.

3. What made you get into this line of business?

Essentially my own break down – prior to my change of direction, I was living behind a mask of ‘fake it til you make it’ – I said the right things, behaved in the right way, achieved the right goals…. But never felt good enough. My internal head talk was destructive and ultimately limited the quality of my success. Simultaneous to this, I was hiding a secret behind my big successful smile, and that was violent, aggressive out-of-control overreactions towards my then 4-year-old son. Ultimately
it was this behaviour, and the truth that haunted me (I hate being a mum) that lead me to create a new path for myself, my family and my business.

4. What makes you get up and go in the morning, do you have a morning power routine?

Lol, normally my two kids! No, after I take them to school, what drives me to keep building, growing and sharing my message is my passion to set women free from their BS. Not only for themselves, but also for their kids and younger generations – it’s time we started to learn simple yet effective strategies that build emotional resiliency – for ourselves and for our kids.

5. What is the best advice you have ever been given?

Let go of the hustle. Work with your female flow – be OK with the fact that you are going to ebb and flow and work more with your emotions and less with the stories that distract you from what you can control.

6. What is a book you would say everyone must read?

Mine! Own Your BS: The No-Nonsense Guide to addressing your Female Head Talk 😉

7. Does your business have any offers on at present or coming up?

I have an online course that is available for registration all year round – with Life Time Access, this program gives you the tools to build your emotional resiliency in alignment with your female factor. It starts with Awareness of what is going on, develops habits of Action and finishes with Aligning your goals, dreams and daily activities with whats MOST important to you.

8. What one thing do you do to change your mindset instantly?

I identify what I’m feeling, I work with the feeling and then I change my focus on what I can control/change or do in that moment.

9. What do you love most about helping others?

OOOO I absolutely love when a woman feels confident that she has control over her
negative thinking. I love hearing stories about how they use the tools I share with them to teach their kids and the impact that has on the children.  I love the look in their eyes when they realise that everything they need truly is within them.

10. Your favourite quote?

Every next level of your life will demand a different you – Leonardo DiCaprio
