Teri Gosselin

  1. Please Introduce yourself, what is your name, business name, where you are from?

Teri Gosselin

Business Title/Name:Transformational Strength Coach + Healer/ Teri Gosselin Coaching

Location: Maryland, USA

  1. What is your business about?

As a Transformational Strength Coach + Healer,  I help women who have suffered great loss (whether it be loss of a loved one, loss of self, loss of passion) truly embrace their authenticity at their soul essence, enabling them to discover their strength within to persevere and heal from the inside out.

I want to help as many women as possible feel safe to share their authenticity, receive the gentle encouragement and guidance they need, and understand that they are stronger than they know, that hope is possible and that they can truly live a beautiful life after loss!

  1. What made you get into this line of business?

After enduring the sudden loss of my brother, three weeks before my wedding day, I soon lost who I was, consumed by anxiety and overwhelm, and deep sadness. My ten-year long healing journey has been a long and bumpy one, and after years of therapy, intense inner work with coaches, and exploration and expansion of my soul, my spirituality and my gifts, I am so grateful to be able to help other amazing women on their own healing journey.

My goal is to help women embark on their healing journey much sooner than I was able to, to rediscover who they are, what lights their soul on fire, and that they are meant for a beautiful life after loss, and all on their own divine timing. Healing work is very deep, sacred and personal – I don’t take that for granted, and appreciate the trust so many women have in me to support them on their own journey.

  1. What makes you get up and go in the morning, do you have a morning power routine?

My kids, usually 😉 They are our alarm clocks!

However, the thought of a new day to inspire, to motivate, to give hope to those who feel hopeless, is what gets me up and moving!

My morning power routine usually includes some quiet time listening to podcasts or ebooks for further development, and gratitude. A life full of gratitude allows a conscious presence in the moment, and that is where the magic of life happens!

  1. What is the best advice you have ever been given?

The best advice that I was ever given, and I still use each day for myself and my clients, is “To Be Gentle With Yourself.”

This statement may sound simplistic, however when I received this beautiful sentiment from a former boss after I had lost my brother, it spoke volumes to me.

It gave me the permission I needed to feel into the grief I was enduring.

To know it is more than ok to have these feelings and understand what they are.

To love myself through it anyhow.

That these feelings are due to the great loss I had experienced, the loss of my past, my present and my future.

That to be gentle with myself was all I could do in that moment, and that was enough.

To this day, I think of this gift of advice often. I share this regularly with my community and clients as reminder to bring themselves back to the present, to give themselves permission to feel what they are going through, and to remind them how much strength it takes to do so.

IMG_9096

  1. What is a book you would say everyone must read?

Brene Brown’s “Braving the Wilderness” spoke to my soul deeply. Like an intimate call to show up more vulnerable and courageous, all while connecting with others, which in turn has been a significant component on how I have grown my business. I give my community and clients permission to do this, all the while, I am actively doing the same.

  1. Does your business have any offers on at present or coming up?

Yes! My new six month 1:1 program has launched, and I am so thrilled to share it with you!

If you are:

Ready to dance with your shadows and uncover the stories of your past, your grief, your trauma, so that you have a conscious awareness of old patterns and can actively work to release those emotions and truly embrace your self-worth and value in this world.

Ready to realign your energetic connection through opening any blocked chakras (emotional blocks) so that you can reignite your truest essence and heal from the inside out.

Ready to lead with your heart, allowing you to love yourself after loss, and serving as beacon of hope to others that a beautiful life can continue after loss.

Ready to eliminate guilt by setting healthy boundaries with personal and professional relationships, career, time and social life so that you can priorities YOUR needs, wants and desires, and create the inner peace you seek so deeply.

Ready to release the pressure to be perfect so that you can live a fuller life and discover the pieces of yourself that have gone missing, particularly in the form of play, happiness, and contentment.

Ready to give permission to and of yourself to own who you are, and what you want in life, speak your truth and know your story is worth loving, and will bring you a sense of freedom.

Ready to recognise and embrace your own inner strength and resilience on your healing journey to not only persevere but to thrive and live a purpose-driven life.

Ready to truly honour the journey you have been on so that you can shift and reconstruct your thoughts and perceptions, and open your mind and heart to expansion and opportunity.

Ready to reignite the passion and fire within your soul so that you are inspired to dream again and take action on creating this into your reality.

Then *The Journey to Inner Peace* is the program for you!

Just as your journey is personal, so is this program!

It is customised to your needs, your wants, your desires…to YOU!

This six month program includes the following:

  1. What one thing do you do to change your mindset instantly?

Deep breathing! I can centre myself back to the moment, drop into my body, and allow myself to simply just be. This does wonders!!

  1. What do you love most about helping others?

Can I say everything? It warms my heart when I see women breaking through the shadows, their fears, their past, in order to find themselves again. To come back to love!

It takes great strength and courage to embark on a healing journey, and when women show up to do so, it is the most beautiful event I have ever witnessed. The unbecoming of ourselves to become ourselves is truly the greatest gift one could ever give themselves.

  1. Your favourite quote?

“Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who we think we are supposed to be and embracing who we are.” – Brene Brown

Sophie Coltburn

1.Please Introduce yourself, what is your name, business name, where you are from?

My name is Sophie Coltburn, I am the founder of Mindsoulness and I’m from South coast UK.
2. What is your business about?

Mindsoulness is about using our mindset to heal and help ourselves and others. To manage things like anxiety, overwhelm and procrastination, to increase our success in our relationships and businesses and most importantly to experience more joy in our lives. We look at all types of methods of mindset work, from the very practical and physical, to the more esoteric and spiritual.
3. What made you get into this line of business?
I come from a professional career in Graphic Design. I was set on that path from age 15, but after a couple of years in the industry I suffered a huge loss in our family and it shifted my perspective on everything. It took me a few years of trying different companies and design roles to realise that office/employee work really wasn’t for me and I couldn’t stay feeling so trapped every day.
I started listening to podcasts and videos by people like Tony Robbins, Lewis Howes, Marie Forleo and Tim Ferris and learned about being an entrepreneur. I craved more freedom and wanted to do something that lit me up and allowed me to do more in my life.
Mindsoulness seemed to be a seed of something planted in my mind one night and it’s taken me a few years of hard work to understand what it is. I know it’s bigger than me, which can be daunting, but exciting at the same time.
4. What makes you get up and go in the morning, do you have a morning power routine?
I don’t really have any issues getting up in the morning now that I don’t have to go to an office! I also work at home with my husband so we tend to just get up and have breakfast together before starting work.
5. What is the best advice you have ever been given?
I don’t know if you’d call it advice, but there are a few core things that have helped me massively these past years.
1. Practice gratitude daily. It makes ALL the difference to your mindset and health.
2. Every moment is a new moment to start fresh.
3. You are the co-creator of your life. Take responsibility and recognise excuses for what they are.
6. What is a book you would say everyone must read?
Oh thats tough. I often recommend “You are a Baddass” and “You are a Badass at Making Money” by Jen Sincero
7. Does your business have any offers on at present or coming up?
I have a couple of openings for working on mindset with me 1:2:1 and I’m in the process of creating a course around managing anxiety and overwhelm.
8. What one thing do you do to change your mindset instantly?
I think gratitude is one of the key things. Anytime I start slipping into negative thoughts that aren’t useful for emotional processing*, I think of things I’m thankful for and focus on the feelings of joy and gratitude.
* some negative thoughts can be processed and helpful to heal, but many are just fear getting in the way.
9. What do you love most about helping others?
I love seeing the changes that happen so fast. I’m always blown away by the speed at which the ladies I work with change their mindset, attitude and consequently their lives.
10. Your favourite quote?
“Change your thoughts and you change your world” – Norman Vincent Peale

Carol Moses

My name is Carol Moses and 9 months ago after spending most of my adult life as an actress. I became my own boss when I set up PORTOBELLO TOM. I want to give you a quick insight as to why Portobello Tom exists and why I now make affirmation bracelets alongside my European charm bracelets.

My story:

A West Londoner through and through, I grew up near Portobello Road where as kids we used to call jewellery ‘Tom’ hence the name Portobello Tom.

My mother was a ‘gym slip mum’ and too young to handle the responsibility of raising a child so my grandmother brought me up as her own with her 3 boys on a little estate in Latimer Road, West London. I’m telling you this because I want you to get an understanding of my relationship with my gran. She was my everything and I didn’t really know how to love anyone else on that kind of level until I had my first child, Akira.

16 years ago, my grandmother suddenly passed away from throat cancer even though she had never smoked a single cigarette in her whole life, go figure.

3 weeks after my grandmothers sad passing my mother and uncles decided they were going to the Caribbean to sort out my grandmother’s affairs (she had spent the last 10 years of her life living on her home Island of Dominica).

There was no question as far as I was concerned, Akira and I were going with them. Now, Akiras dad didn’t want her to go but I was adamant, she was going with me. We were going to be celebrating her 3rd birthday in Dominica and in a funny way it gave the family something to look forward to whilst there. I struggled with the guilt of that choice for years.

5 days into the trip, 6 weeks after my grandmother passed, 2 days before her 3rd birthday Akira contracted meningococcal septicaemia and died within 24 hrs of the symptoms appearing.  On February 4th 2001, my life fell apart and it has taken 16 long years to try to pull the pieces together, but pull them together I have.

Now, my story is not about how cruel life is but rather about how strong we human beings are. How amazing the human spirit is. In the pursuit of happiness and healing I’ve discovered many things. I’ve discovered happiness is a right for all.

That includes me and you. It sounds obvious, but it was something I forgot whilst battling the depression and alcohol abuse that came about as a result of losing Akira. I just didn’t know how to cope. I went into free fall, I lost my self-confidence, my faith and my long-held belief that life was supposed to be enjoyed.  When my beautiful, intelligent, spirited daughter passed away life stopped making any sense.

Over the years I found much attention was given to the victims of meningitis and the disease itself and rightly so by the way. But there is another side of the story. There is the family that is left behind when a person passes away. Aunties, uncles, siblings, grandparents, cousins and most importantly parents who now have to find a way of living the rest of their life rather than just existing as I did for many years.

We have to find a purpose, a reason to carry on breathing and living. We must remember how strong we are. Unlike most people I had to find a reason to be happy rather than just being happy. So, you see, I had to rediscover my amazingness as a matter of survival.

We are all going to go through pain at some point, but as long as we believe and hang on in there, we will always come out the other end of our journey stronger. This is why I have created the JOURNEY range. Initially I thought I was creating something specifically to reminded those who had been left behind that they are strong. That they are amazing, because walking through the fire of grief is not easy. It takes superhuman strength at times, but we can do it and come out the other end feeling blessed to have had our loved ones in our lives, no matter how short that time was.

But it has turned into a lot more, because everybody and I mean everybody needs reminding at some point of how strong they are. Not only those who have suffered bereavement but anyone who has been through, a rocky patch, anyone who has had to overcome, anyone who needs reminding they are a hero for carrying on, anyone who needs to be told to carry on because they are worth it and worthy.

The main charms I use on my Portobello Tom ‘JOUREY’ bracelet and what they represent:

I put a tree of life charm on there to remind the wearer that life is forever growing and that they are rooted to something bigger than just themselves. We are connected to a life source we must remember that.

Then there is the teardrop charm, it symbolises the tears you have cried. All stories of strength have a tear or two involved. But those tears did not stop you from moving forward. You have got from there to here. Yes, you may cry again but it will always be ok not to be ok for a time. You will make sure you get up, you will find the strength to keep moving forward…you always have.

I’ve also added a reminder to revel in your playful side in the presence of a child-like charm on the JOURNEY bracelet. Your laughter is important, the world needs it. Did you know smiling gives off positive energy? Smile.

Finally, I have a musical note or treble base. This is to remind you to talk your truth, your voice is important. When I went through my trauma I lost faith in my own voice. Everyone else’s opinion held more weight than my own, even when it came to dealing with my own life. However, we are all entitled to our own opinion and to travel our Journey as we see fit, and that’s what the musical note represents.

I will be donating 10% of the profits from the ‘Journey’ affirmation bracelets to Meningitis Now.  When I needed help in the early days of my daughter’s passing, when I just couldn’t see a future with me in it they were there for me so now I want to what I can to give back in some way.

Here’s to a wonderful life.

Erin Hill

1. Please Introduce yourself, what is your name, business name, where you
are from?

Hi! My name is Erin Hill, and I’m the owner of A Beautiful Mess, LLC in
Cambridge MD

2. What is your business about?

I and a support and accountability coach for women – which is basically
being a cheerleader/personal trainer/drill Sargent/big sister.  I help
women meet their goals by having a safe place to be THEM – unwavering love
and acceptance for who and where they are, and challenging them to take
that next step

3. What made you get into this line of business?

I started about 2 years ago working on ‘self care’ and barely scratching
the surface – so many other coaches were doing the same thing! I felt like
one of many… So I decided to brand myself as the #coachforwivesofaddicts
and lean on my personal experience of being married to not just one but 2
addicts to help women face their co-dependency.  That has turned into
realising that the ‘not enough ness’ doesn’t always manifest as
relationships with someone who’s addicted. It can look like the 5 or 10 or
50 pounds that won’t come off and stay off. It can look like reaching for
an MLM goal and missing it and feeling like a failure. It can look like
simply feeling like there is always a mask to be worn because it’s not
safe to be YOU.

4. What makes you get up and go in the morning, do you have a morning
power routine?

My bladder is what makes me get up 🙂 I love to enjoy my coffee in peace
before I have to make sure the hubs and kids are up and ready and off to
school/work.  I love having a few quiet moments before tackling the day.
I do hit the gym at least 3 days a week, and try to read a little every
day.  My ‘routine’ is more nightly when I’m laying in bed, I practice
gratitude for the day’s events. I also say affirmations/mantras with a
mala I made with a friend.  Then up and at it the next day!

5. What is the best advice you have ever been given?

OOh Great question!!  There’s actually 2 life altering messages – the
first – Things don’t happen TO you – they happen FOR you. The second –
Keep showing up and doing the next right thing.

6. What is a book you would say everyone must read?

I’m not a big reader these days, but I’m working on it! I think I’d say
that everyone must read something for pleasure! In the online business
world, it feels like there’s always a book recommendation – mindset
shifts, personal development, etc. I think allowing ourselves to read
something for pleasure (I love old Stephen King or Dean Koontz, or trashy
romance novels) can help give your mind a break from the constant learn,
do, be, get and relax a bit!

7. Does your business have any offers on at present or coming up?

I’m always looking to connect with women who are ready to get unwavering
support and accountability, and receive reminders about how amazing they
are!  I have weekly, daily, and VIP options starting around $75 per week.

8. What one thing do you do to change your mindset instantly?

Reach OUT! I have a few women in my circle that I know I can hit up if I
start feeling like I’m circling the drain. For me, it’s about momentum.
Getting a handle on the negative thoughts before they start pulling me in.
Reminding myself of the truth – like I’ve survived 100% of my bad days,
and most judgement comes from myself.

9. What do you love most about helping others?

I love to see the smiles. The light-bulb moments when a woman ‘gets it’ –
realises deep within that she is ENOUGH. As she is, how she is, and in who
she is.  It’s really magical!

10. Your favourite quote?

I believe it’s a Rumi quote – “What is for me, can not miss me.”

_EL_8212-Edit

3. What made you get into this line of business?

I got into this business because I wanted to help people. I qualified as a counsellor 8 years ago and worked as a relationship counsellor for many years.  I took a large break from work after suffering from severe stress, an emotional breakdown and anorexia. That experience changed me a lot and I look at life differently. I came to realise that I was 100% responsible for my well-being and happiness and loving me needed to be my first priority. As a result of my experiences I now want to help women become responsible for their well-being and happiness and become comfortable with the skin they are in.

4. What makes you get up and go in the morning, do you have a morning power routine?

I get up about 5am and I go walking along the beach and I watch the sunrise. I take my shoes off and walk bare foot along the sand. This is my favourite time of day. I meditate and I breathe deeply soaking up the magic of the day. I self-talk to myself….giving myself a pep talk to start my day with confidence.

_EL_8033-Edit

5. What is the best advice you have ever been given?

The best advice I have ever been given is “Surround yourself with good people.” My dad told me this.

6. What is a book you would say everyone must read?

A book I would recommend is “The subtle art of not giving a fuck” by Mark Manson. I have read this book 3 times and he really puts a different spin on things.

7. Does your business have any offers on at present or coming up?

This program includes information, activities, 1:1 coaching for an hour once per week and email contact during this time. I am also developing a few bonuses as well. This program is valued at $2925 and I am offering it for $1997 to 8 lucky ladies. I like to work with women one to one and I like to be able to give my clients all the support they need .

Donna Lee 566

8. What one thing do you do to change your mindset instantly?

If I want to change my mindset instantly I tell myself………”STOP IT!!!!!” Our egos are very cunning at talking us into bullshit. It’s our responsibility to recognise it and cut it before our minds get carried away.

9. What do you love most about helping others?

I love helping women move forward. Seeing a woman stuck where she is when she could be so much more inspires me to want to help if they are ready.

10. Your favourite quote?

My favourite quote is “What you focus on grows”

Natalie Christine Dattilo

1. Please Introduce yourself, what is your name, business name, where you are from?

 2.What is your business about?

Priority Wellness is a women’s health psychology practice. We offer psychological treatment and health coaching for individuals using a mind-body approach as well as consulting for companies and healthcare organisations interested in supporting the mental health and wellness needs of their employees.

3. What made you get into this line of business?

I have always been curious about human behaviour and why people do what they do, so studying psychology was a natural fit for me. I love helping others better understand themselves and assist them in leading their most productive and happy lives.

Natalie Christine_2

4. What makes you get up and go in the morning, do you have a morning power routine?

I try to start each day “on my terms,” so to speak, and begin by setting an intention for the day. I usually wake up around 4:30 to workout, meditate, and drink my coffee. It’s hard for me to imagine starting the day any other way. My children are usually up by the time I’m done and I’m a much better mom when I am exercised and caffeinated.

5. What is the best advice you have ever been given?

Trust in the process and the results will come. I’m a very goal-oriented person but sometimes tend to focus too much on the outcome and not enough on the process. I’ve learned over time that while the destination is important, the journey is really what matter most.

6. What is a book you would say everyone must read?

There are so many books I love, but the one that I have been recommending lately is “Mindset” by Carol Dweck. It was a game changer for me.

Natalie Christine_4

7.Does your business have any offers on at present or coming up?

We are currently recruiting participants for online mental resiliency training program called BODYmind Boot Camp. It’s an intensive 6-week, rapid-result, action-oriented, group-based stress-reduction training program designed for women to help manage or prevent symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress and burnout.

8. What One thing do you do to change your mindset instantly?

Take a breath and focus on the present moment. I remind myself that everything is as it should be. During difficult times, I challenge myself to find the lesson and be grateful for it.

9. What do you love most about helping others?

I love helping people develop greater self-awareness and insight into themselves and why they do what they do. I love helping people get “unstuck.” The magic happens when they start putting real changes into effect by taking action and experiencing life differently, and in a way that is truly and powerfully fulfilling. I love hearing people’s stories, hearing about their lives, what they overcame, and what they hope to accomplish. Then I love watching them make it happen.

10. Your favourite quote?

“There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it.”
–Edith Wharton

Christine Lavulo

  1. Please Introduce yourself, what is your name, business name, where you are from?
My name is Christine Lavulo and I am the owner of Christine Lavulo Coaching. I am from Salt Lake City, Utah. I have been married almost 21 years and have 5 sons ages 9-27. I also have a grandson who just turned 4 today.

2. What is your business about?

My business is about helping women overcome the blocks, sabotages and fears that hold them back and creating custom strategies they can easily implement to create their most beautiful life.

3. What made you get into this line of business?

I got into this business by sheer divine inspiration. 8 years ago I decided to separate from my husband and it was a year-long journey that taught me about myself, about people and how to truly have peace and successful relationships. I especially realized that I had the power to create what I wanted to experience. It seems women especially tend to lose themselves in serving their families and meeting the demands that are placed on them through work, family and charitable things we feel called to. And its important that if we lose ourselves, we find ourselves again.

4. What makes you get up and go in the morning, do you have a morning power routine?

I am working on being more consistent with my morning power routine (Power Hour or Miracle Morning). When I’m on the ball, I get up at 6am, read scriptures and say a prayer, expressing gratitude. Then I meditate to receive inspiration. I do a short yoga DVD and if time permits I read some other inspirational book. I work to also do a quick affirmation and visualisation session in the morning.

CLOSE UP ROYAL 1

5.What is the best advice you have ever been given?

The best advice I have ever been given is to take 100% responsibility for my life. I create/cause my world. I can choose to think happy, positive thoughts or be stuck in negativity and that choice will create my experience.

6.What is a book you would say everyone must read?

I think the #1 must read for absolutely everyone is a hard one because I have so many! However, I loved “Excuse Me, Your Life Is Waiting” by Lyn Grabhorn. This was life changing for me at the time I read it because it was my first introduction to the law of attraction. It was an easy read and I felt it made it more tangible-easier to understand. At the same time I have to say that The Success Principles is life changing for sure! And those basic principles can truly change your life in a big way when implemented.

7. Does your business have any offers on at present or coming up?

Right now I am working on new offers so while I can’t say I have one right this second, I could definitely come up with one in a short period of time. 🙂

8. What one thing do you do to change your mindset instantly?

My #1 thing I do to change my mindset instantly is apply E+R=O. That is always on my mind and when I find myself sinking I just ask myself what I can take responsibility for and start telling a new story.

LIGHT BLUE 1

9. What do you love most about helping others?

It’s selfish but I love the way I feel when I know I’ve positively impacted someone’s life. It feels good to me and it’s incredible satisfying. When you see someone making progress and you know it’s because of something you did or said, it’s hugely rewarding!

10. Your favourite quote?

“Treat a man as he is and he will remain as he is. Treat a man as he can and should be and he will become as he can and should be”. _Goethe.

Mandy Halgreen

  1. Please introduce yourself, what is your name, business name, where you are from?

Hi I’m Mandy Halgreen. I’m a Book Writing Mentor. I live in Africa, Zimbabwe actually.

  1. What is your business about?

My business focuses on helping women share their story in a book and using it to create impact and income in their business and life. I help women open up, connect and empower other women as they share their story. I support them and guide them as they follow a signature process to write their book.

  1. What made you get into this line of business?

I left my teaching job which I hated – my boss had destroyed me mentally and emotionally. I had been through several rapes and abuse which added to my insecurity and anxiety. I was broken and battered. I had severe anxiety and PTSS. I stopped leaving home and wanted to express my pain and self-harm wasn’t the way. I poured my heart into writing and expressing myself. So, what I did helped me learn, grow and take back my power. I realised I could help others do the same!

  1. What makes you get up and go in the morning, do you have a morning power routine?

I do. I sit in silence, visualise my future, read, and journal and say affirmations. Then I get my coffee!

  1. What is the best advice you have ever been given?

Be yourself – no one can do it better!

Mandy 1 (80).JPG

  1. What is a book you would say everyone must read?

Worthy by Nancy Levin. It opened my eyes to my own self-worth.

  1. Does your business have any offers on at present or coming up?

Yes, I have spots open for 30-minute coaching calls to help you move forward with your story and book. I also have 3 spots open for 1:1 coaching. This is where you and I work together for 6 months to get your book out into the world!

Sam Evans

  1. Please Introduce yourself, what is your name, business name, where you are from?

I am Sam Evans, I am a Breakthrough Coach and Brand Strategist and I am based in the UK, just outside of London.   I work from home around my 2 boys – well three if you inc my husband!DSC_2505

  1. What is your business about?

I work with online entrepreneurs and coaches who are just starting out and really struggle to step into their power online albeit lack of belief, fears of failure, and with no strategy so they are literally hustling online hoping for a sale. I help clients create their personal brand identity and have an online business strategy within their business so they become authentic in Mind, Brand and Business, creating time and financial freedom, using emotional intelligence, NLP and Timeline Therapy ™  .

  1. What made you get into this line of business?

My business is something I never dreamed that I would ever have. As an entrepreneur, especially a mumpreneur, you really want to connect with who you were, before kids, and become this incredible leader.  But something blocks you.  You forget what you have or not acknowledge what you have, and get more stressed out when really you don’t need to be.  When I first started working for myself, I had no idea the skills and mindset that was required to build a business off-line and online. I started my own childcare business investing over 10k into the business, and sold it for 1500.

I then got introduced to NWM, and I thought YES this is it! I am going to be super rich super fast and I will pay back all I spent!  But it didn’t work like that.  I had so many limiting beliefs and negative emotions holding me back, that I knew I had to work on my own mindset.  Thanks to NWM I was introduced to it, but I had no intention of becoming a coach! I loved leading, but I never had the skills to actually help me step up online.  Through several coaches of my own, I realised I had a nack of bringing the best out of people, I realised that people came to me and felt inspired and encouraged themselves to take action, but I knew that there was more to give and more to the mind.

So I became certified in NLP and TLT ™ and boy did I have to go through my own journey.  No coach can coach unless they go through the process or how else can you help others, if you cannot help yourself and I feel honoured that I have the empathy and grounded personality to help people do the same.   I then hired a business coach who helped me create my own automated system and I found my passion to help entrepreneurs be unique in their identity, and their business.  We are allowed to be authentic!  So from being a follower to holding people on a pedalstool  and being in victim mode, I let go of my own BS stories and now help many entrepreneurs do the same.

  1. What makes you get up and go in the morning, do you have a morning power routine?

I am a big believer you just have to get up and go.  If you feel the urge to want to listen to an audio or calm the mind first thing, then you have a lot of internal work to do.  I used to massively rely on audios but if I didn’t listen to them I was still a snappy mummy!  I had to do the internal graft to want to get up.  I was a lazy snoozer!!! Now, I just say, I am having an extra 10 minutes because I am going to have an incredible day today!  I set my alarm for 5.30am and I am up ready for the day ahead.  I plan my week on a Sunday and soon as I drop the kids to school I journal and be thankful in my gratitude book every day knowing that my work is going to change the lives of so many people.

  1. What is the best advice you have ever been given?

Stop being a pussy and step up.  I know it seems harsh right?  But we have every right to step up and be our authentic selves without having the need to seek approval from anyone.

  1. What is a book you would say everyone must read?

The universe has your back by Gabby Bernstein it is absolutely amazing!

  1. Does your business have any offers on at present or coming up?

Yes actually I do at the moment, I am offering 4 people, a chance to start my new 5 month program which is reduced by 2000 until 1st December.  The reason why I am offering it as a gift, is because I had two packages and now I have extended it, and collaborated both packages together.  It’s going to be mind-blowing plus I am offer an additional month absolutely free to them!

  1. What One thing do you do to change your mindset instantly?

Because I have been through the process of eliminating the root cause of my own negative emotions, I understand and am fully aware when my mind tries to make me want to sabotage myself.  When an incident occurs, i tend to recognise it. Acknowledge it and then work on letting it go.  You can’t be hard on yourself and get stuck in these mental ruts, it’s about facing to the challenges and become aware of your own abilities to step up.  We can all do it.

  1. What do you love most about helping others?

I was so born to help others. I just always knew!  The one thing I love the most is seeing them just be themselves. Seeing them breakthrough their BS stories, and when they think they know what the problem is, and it’s actually not it’s something else.  They have this penny dropping moment a’ha! OH I get it now!! And I love that feeling… the mind is a gift and I love helping them see just how beautiful their mind is.

  1. Your favourite quote?

It has to be do or do not there is no try.  No excuses. No BS.  Just do it! We all have a choice.

Melissa McDaniel

  1. Please Introduce yourself, what is your name, business name, where you are from?

Hi! My name is Melissa McDaniel and I am the Founder of Love, Melissa Ann and the author of  “Who will love me? A holistic approach to building meaningful relationships after sexual assault.” I was born and raised in the beautiful state of Washington. After a few international travels and a graduate degree on the East Coast I have made my way back to my home state.

  1. What is your business about?

I am a Personal Empowerment Coach who supports women in moving beyond a life of loneliness and isolation and into a life of meaningful relationships after sexual assault. Drawing from my own transformational experience, I give women the tools- and permission- to heal in ways they never knew were possible. Together we laugh, cry, and most likely will say a few WTFs on her journey to lovingly take back her power, trust her inner voice, reconnect with her body, and build meaningful relationships.

  1. What made you get into this line of business?

After being sexually assaulted I found myself continuously wondering, Who will love me? I felt as if I was living two lives, the one I thought I needed to portray and the one I hid behind closed doors. Never fully connecting with others because I did not feel I had the ability to be my true authentic self. As I transformed my life from loneliness and isolation into a life of abundant relationships I was called to help others sexual assault survivors do the same. When they ask the question, “Who will love me?”  I always let them know, Melissa Ann does and will.

  1. What makes you get up and go in the morning, do you have a morning power routine?

Ha… so typically my rabbit, Gypsy, wakes me up around 5:30 a.m. trying to burst out of his cage for a morning dance party. Once we dance, tea is made and one of my favourite guided meditations is turned on. Gypsy is also a fan of meditation and joins in the morning ritual most days. After the meditation I go about showering, eating, etc.  Hanging on the back of my front door are my weekly affirmations. I recite each affirmation out loud before I leave the house. One of my favourites right now is, “With love, I will make the difference I am destined to make.”

  1. What is the best advice you have ever been given?

Once I had someone say to me, “Melissa, has anyone ever told you, you are enough? Sitting in an empty room, bare ass naked, doing absolutely nothing, you are enough.” At that moment the biggest weight was lifted off my shoulders. Wait?! What?! I can be doing nothing and still be considered enough?! For years I masked the pain of being sexually assaulted by becoming an extreme perfectionist and overachiever.  One more academic degree, one more country travelled to, one more failed hobby would surely cure the pain. This new idea of, “I am enough,” helped me to heal on a deeper level and love myself fiercely.

  1. What is a book you would say everyone must read?

This is such a tough question for me. Books are my life.  If I have to pick just one I would say Paulo Coelho’s the Alchemist. It reminds me of the beauty and magic that happens when you trust your inner self. Knowing to follow your own personal journey, even when the path is less travelled.

  1. Does your business have any offers on at present or coming up?

Currently my book, “Who will love me? A holistic approach to building meaningful relationships after sexual assault.” is available for pre-order on Amazon for $.99. Amazon

  1. What one thing do you do to change your mindset instantly?

Such a great question! Lately, when I need a mindset change instantly I have been using the affirmation, “I choose to see love instead.” It helps bring me back to the real reason we are doing this thing called life, to love and be loved.

  1. What do you love most about helping others?

To me, the best part about helping others is the ripple effect that occurs. Seeing women go on to fiercely love and support other women on their journey to healing after sexual assault is beautiful.

  1. Your favourite quote?

“It took me quite a long time to develop a voice, and now that I have it, I’m not going to be silent.” Madeleine Albright
